Overview
The field of psychiatry is changing due to advances in diagnostic techniques and new potential therapies. In order to provide the best treatment for their patients, it is important that psychiatrists and members of the multidisciplinary care team understand new and novel forms of therapy and how to apply them in clinical practice.
The 2026 Southern Florida Psychiatry Conference is the perfect educational opportunity for applying new strategies in psychiatric clinical practice. This meeting will showcase regional experts in presentations and panel discussions. The topics will include managing challenging psychiatric conditions, including major depressive disorder, substance use disorders, schizophrenia, and more. This program creates the opportunity to review patient scenarios, reflect on how to handle challenging cases, integrate relevant evidence into real-world patient management, and get feedback from experts and peers. Emerging treatments and the best practices for using them will be addressed during this 2-day educational program.
Learning Objectives
Pertaining to psychiatric disorders and associated comorbid conditions, at the conclusion of this conference, participants should be better prepared to:
- Identify best practices in diagnosis
- Evaluate clinical trial data for approved therapies
- Assess clinical trial data for investigational therapies
- Implement evidence-based management plans to optimize patient outcomes
Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward psychiatrists who treat patients with a range of psychiatric disorders. Psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychiatric nurses and other health care professionals interested in the treatment of patients with psychiatric disorders are invited to participate.

A cancellation fee of 25% will be assessed on refunds requested 90 days before the start date, a 50% fee on refunds requested 60 days before the start date, and a 75% fee on refunds requested 30 days before the start date. No refunds will be made after 30 days before the start date. There is no charge for substitution. Substitutions can only be applied to the same conference and only two substitutions will be honored.
In the event of a meeting cancellation, full refunds will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation date.
PER® reserves the exclusive rights to all recordings or reproductions of the conference and supporting materials. Unauthorized recording, by any means, is expressly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, recording of presentations or reproductions of supporting audio/visual materials, exhibits, and other supporting continuing education materials.
