Target Audience
This educational activity is intended for oncologists, hematologists, nurses, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, radiotherapists, immunologists, fellows, researchers, pathologists, and other health care professionals involved in or interested in the treatment and management of patients with cancer, including solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, learners will be better able to:
- Describe the supporting evidence for novel biomarker-testing approaches that guide the use of targeted therapies and/or modification of treatment plans
- Evaluate efficacy and safety data from recent pivotal trials investigating new and emerging therapies
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on evolving evidence, guideline recommendations, and individual patient/disease characteristics
- Apply strategies to identify and mitigate treatment-related adverse effects associated with novel therapies and combination regimens
