Activity Overview
HER2–positive (HER2+) breast cancer accounts for approximately 15% of breast cancer cases and is characterized by an increasingly complex treatment landscape. Advances in HER2-directed therapies have improved outcomes across early-stage and metastatic disease, yet the rapid expansion of available options has created challenges related to optimal sequencing, safety management, and application of emerging data for community-based clinicians, highlighting a continued educational need.
This program will be delivered as a series of 10 CME-certified virtual meetings in collaboration with ACCC-affiliated Oncology State Societies. Using an interactive, case-based format tailored to community oncology practice, the initiative is designed to translate evolving clinical evidence into practical, real-world decision-making and to support personalized care for patients with HER2+ breast cancer.

held on April 10, 2026.
Target Audience
This educational program is primarily directed toward
community-based surgical and medical oncologists, advanced practice providers,
nurses, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of breast
cancer.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Evaluate current and emerging clinical trial data to support evidence-based sequencing of HER2-directed therapies across stages in HER2+ breast cancer
- Integrate patient-, disease-, and treatment-related variables—including safety, tolerability, site of care, and patient goals—into personalized HER2+ breast cancer management strategies
- Analyze key safety and tolerability data for current and emerging HER2-targeted therapies to inform evidence-based patient counseling and adverse event management in HER2+ breast cancer
