Activity Overview
For patients with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (mTNBC) who are ineligible for frontline immunotherapy-containing regimens, treatment options have been limited to conventional cytotoxic regimens, with antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) reserved for second- and later lines of therapy. However, recent results from pivotal clinical trials have challenged this paradigm, demonstrating progression-free and even overall survival benefits for the use of TROP2-directed ADCs in the frontline setting.
This podcast features a discussion of the pivotal frontline trial data with these agents and the clinical implications, led by Rohit Gosain, MD and Rahul Gosain, MD.
Target Audience
This educational activity is directed by medical oncologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, oncology nurses and other HCPs who manage patients with breast cancer.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Evaluate recent data from pivotal clinical trials investigating new frontline treatments for mTNBC
- Apply emerging evidence, PD-L1 status, and patient preferences to select optimal first-line therapy for patients with mTNBC
- Identify key adverse events and supportive care strategies associated with new treatment approaches for mTNBC
