Activity Overview
The BURST CME™ format is an inline, on-demand video program designed to deliver concise modular education. In this first module, Dr Aaron D. Berger reviews the limitations of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing for the detection of prostate cancer, the plethora of ancillary biomarker tests that are currently available, and how he incorporates biomarker testing into daily practice.
Target Audience
This educational activity is primarily directed toward urologists. Other clinicians who diagnose prostate cancer are welcome to participate as well.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Apply biomarker testing to guide diagnostic evaluation in patients with a high risk of prostate cancer.
- Integrate biomarker testing and magnetic resonance imaging to improve risk stratification and early detection in patients with a high risk of prostate cancer.
- Implement long-term monitoring strategies for patients with a low risk of prostate cancer.
