Activity Overview
Welcome to this OncoByte Adaptive Learning Pathway!
Each OncoByte video consists of a 5-minute presentation by our expert faculty on a key foundational topic regarding chemotherapy, CDK4/6 inhibitors, and PARP inhibitors in the adjuvant setting to reduce recurrence risk in patients with hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative early breast cancer (HR+/HER2– eBC).
Prior to watching an OncoByte video, you will be asked 2 questions: 1 to assess your baseline knowledge of the topic and 1 to assess your confidence. If you answer the question correctly and indicate high confidence, you may continue to the next topic. If you answer the question incorrectly or without high confidence, you will be directed to watch the accompanying OncoByte video.
After completing your customized learning pathway, you will be led to a panel discussion where our expert faculty will help you synthesize the latest information and data on adjuvant therapy to reduce recurrence risk in patients with HR+/HER2– eBC to help guide your incorporation of these novel treatments into everyday practice.
Target Audience
This educational program is primarily directed toward medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and pharmacists who are involved in the management of patients with breast cancer.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Assess risk factors for recurrence in patients with HR+/HER2– early-stage breast cancer (eBC)
- Evaluate the role of genomic assays and clinical tools to assess recurrence risk in HR+/HER2– eBC
- Analyze the latest clinical trial data related to the use of adjuvant systemic therapies for high-risk, HR+/HER2– eBC
- Develop personalized treatment plans for adjuvant systemic therapy in patients with high-risk HR+/HER2– eBC
- Apply evidence-based strategies to mitigate and manage treatment-related adverse effects in patients receiving systemic adjuvant therapy for HR+/HER2– eBC
