Release Date: October 31. 2025
Expiration Date: October 31, 2026
Activity Overview
Several needs remain unmet in managing chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP), a rare chronic disorder affecting peripheral nerves and nerve roots. More than half of patients with CIDP do not consider their current disease burden to be satisfactory. This is linked, in part, to clinicians having suboptimal knowledge of European Academy of Neurology and Peripheral Nerve Society guidelines and not accessing the latest information about emerging biologic treatments for CIDP. This activity features clinical experts discussing current guidelines and data supporting best practices for managing CIDP.
This educational activity is an archive of the live symposium held on September 27, 2025.
Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward neuromuscular disease specialists, neurologists, specialty nurse practitioners, specialty physician assistants, nurses, and other health care providers involved in the care of patients with neuromuscular disorders.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Identify the unmet treatment needs of patients with CIDP
- Summarize guideline recommendations for the diagnosis of CIDP
- Describe how novel therapies target the underlying disease mechanisms associated with CIDP
- Select appropriate therapies for the treatment of CIDP based on patient-specific factors and considerations
