Activity Overview
Welcome to this OncoByte Adaptive Learning Pathway!
Each OncoByte video consists of an approximately 5-minute presentation by our expert faculty on a key foundational topic related to the prophylaxis or treatment of chronic graft-vs-host disease (cGVHD). Before watching an OncoByte, you will be asked 1 or 2 questions on the topic to assess your baseline knowledge and confidence. If you answer the question(s) correctly and confidently, you will continue to the next topic. If you answer the question(s) incorrectly or without high confidence, you will continue to the OncoByte video.
After proceeding through your customized learning pathway, you will be led to a panel discussion. Our expert faculty will help you synthesize the latest data to shape your cGVHD prophylaxis and management.
Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward bone marrow transplant physicians, oncologists, nurses, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, fellows, and other health care providers—including dermatologists and pulmonologists—involved in the multidisciplinary care of patients with cGVHD.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Evaluate emerging graft-vs-host disease (GVHD) prophylaxis strategies and their potential impact on reducing chronic GVHD (cGVHD) burden following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant
- Interpret key clinical trial data supporting the use of approved and emerging agents for cGVHD
- Apply current evidence to select the most appropriate treatment option for patients with steroid-refractory cGVHD
- Identify and manage adverse events associated with systemic therapies for cGVHD to optimize tolerability and long-term outcomes
