Activity Overview
Non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) is a heterogeneous disease with highly variable risks of recurrence and progression. Evolving diagnostic tools, shifting definitions of BCG-unresponsive disease, and ongoing therapeutic advancements have created new challenges in selecting and sequencing evidence-based treatment. This activity aims to clarify contemporary best practices and highlight practical approaches for optimizing NMIBC management across risk categories.
In this program, through a case-driven format, expert faculty review recent data, emerging therapies, and real-world considerations that influence clinical decision-making. The program emphasizes multidisciplinary coordination, treatment personalization, and strategies for balancing bladder preservation with oncologic control to improve outcomes for patients with NMIBC.
This educational activity is an archive of the live virtual symposium held on January 17, 2026.
Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward urologists. Other health care professionals involved in managing patients with NMIBC will be invited to participate as well.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better
prepared to:
- Evaluate key clinical trial data and mechanistic features of novel and emerging NMIBC therapies across risk groups
- Incorporate new treatment options into personalized NMIBC care plans using patient-, disease-, and system-level considerations
- Integrate real-world considerations—such as toxicity, tolerability, and care delivery—into NMIBC treatment planning
